The Last Fall Back Act (“we,” “us”) is a Washington State citizens’ initiative effort at lastfallback.org. This page explains what information we collect when you visit or sign up to show your support, why we collect it, and the choices you have. This website is not an official petition, and we are not yet a registered political committee.
Information you give us
If you fill out the interest form, we collect the information you enter: your first and last name, email address, city, ZIP code, whether you are a registered Washington voter willing to sign, and your choices about campaign updates and volunteering. Providing this is entirely voluntary. Each choice is a separate, unchecked option, and we only contact you the way you asked:
- If you check “I am a registered voter… willing to sign,” we will notify you with the limited information needed to know when and where the official petition is available — nothing more, unless you also opt into campaign updates.
- If you check “Send me occasional campaign updates,” we may email you about significant campaign developments, opportunities to contact public officials, events, and other ways to support the initiative.
- If you check “I’d like to volunteer,” we may contact you about training, events, organizing, and signature collection.
Signing the interest form is not the same as signing an official petition. Official signature collection can only begin after the initiative is filed with the Washington Secretary of State.
Information collected automatically
- Privacy-first analytics — Cloudflare Web Analytics: aggregate usage such as pages viewed, approximate region, and device or browser type. It is cookieless, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not track you across other sites. No personal information is collected or sold.
- Server logs: our host records standard technical data (such as IP address, request, and timestamp) to deliver and secure the site.
Cookies
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and our analytics are cookieless — so there is nothing to opt out of. Your browser’s privacy settings and tracker-blocking extensions work normally here, and the site functions fully without cookies. The only information we store is what you choose to submit through the interest form.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the site and manage supporter communications (for example, hosting and email tools), and where required by law. If this effort later becomes a registered political committee, certain records may become subject to Washington State campaign-disclosure law.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted, and you can unsubscribe from updates at any time. To do any of these, email info @ lastfallback . org and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Data retention and location
We keep the information you submit until the initiative effort concludes or you ask us to delete it, and analytics data per our providers’ standard retention periods. Because Google and Microsoft are global companies, some data may be processed in the United States and other countries under the safeguards those providers maintain.
Children
This site is directed to Washington voters and the general public, not to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Links and communities
We link to external sites and communities (such as Facebook and Discord). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; this policy covers only lastfallback.org.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be shown by updating the “Last updated” date above.
